Garden Art

Garden art can put the finishing touches on the work you’ve put into your garden. Like all art, it is in the eye of the beholder: what one gardener considers trash might be another gardener’s treasure.

You can buy a wide variety of garden art such as the omnipresent garden gnomes, or plaster statues of classical cherubs frolicking amongst your roses.

Some gardeners make their own garden art using common household items such as old wine bottles, broken dishes, and even forks and spoons. Bottles hung from a fruit tree create interesting sounds in the (gentle) wind and colors in the sunlight. Broken dishes can be used to create mosaics in garden borders. The possibilities are limited only by your creativity.
